Recycled
silk fiber:
Recycled silk yarn fibers come in glorious mix-matched
colors and are ideal for mixing with other wool
or yarn and art projects. Fibers can be mixed with
other fibers to make yarns to produce brilliant
and unique yarns and textiles.
Currently our recycled silk fibers come in the raw,
un-treated, unprocessed form. It contains a multitude
of beautiful, and unpredictable colors and textures
in varying quantities, as they come from the loose
ends of different sarees and silk fabric.
Usage:
Silk fiber is for spinners, designers and fiber
artists. These could be used in spinning your own
yarn and weaving, arts and crafts projects. Separating,
Hand carding, pre-drafting, and pre-treating the
fibers prior to usage brings best result.
